Colombia Huila Bruselas Danes Specialty Coffee for April

Colombia Huila Bruselas

Grown at an altitude of 1700m in Colombia’s Huila region, Colombia Huila Bruselas is grown on small-scale family farms. • Process: Fully washed
  • Varietal: Caturra
  • Altitude: 1700m
  • Origin: Colombia, Huila, Pitalito, Bruselas

Cupping Notes

Cold Brew Coffee is booming

jon-saroglu-beer-cold-brew-200Coffee makers around the world are rushing to meet to demand for Cold Brew coffee. Online coffee magazine "Comunicaffe" recently wrote about the latest worldwide trends in Cold Brew coffee

Danes Specialty Coffee has not been left behind and has recently introduced its own Cold Brew coffee and a new nitro coffee to its expanding range. The concept starts with batches of cold-drip coffee using Danes’ award-winning Four Elements espresso blend.

The ground beans are soaked in cold water for up to 10 hours, then filtered and bottled as a concentrated liquid that can be served straight, mixed with water or over ice.

Cold-drip coffee is already a favourite of serious coffee drinkers. Putting it in a keg and infusing it with nitrogen and CO2 pushes the coffee-drinking boundaries.
