Danes Coffee
Art meets science: And it tastes incredible.
We craft coffee that defines flavour. Because that’s what coffee is about – full-bodied flavour that keeps you coming back for more.
Coffee creation is science and art. Art is the gift of creativity we use to design the ideal roast profile for each blend and origin. It is intangible knowledge honed from years of practice that allows us to define an outstanding roast.
Science is the measuring and discovery of the finely woven tapestry that exists in the art to make it reproducible. The consistency of these profiles through our roasting is how we deliver you perfect coffee, every cup.
WHY IS OUR COFFEE SO GOOD?
It goes back to the source. Danes coffee is sourced by passionate experts who live and breathe coffee. We comb coffee farms across the world and are entrusted to identify coffee bean gems which we use in our award-winning range of blends and single origins.
Our standards are high – only the most intriguing, character-filled roasts that land on our cupping table make it to your cup.
The beans we use are roasted by artisans, using techniques refined from decades of combined expertise. Every step of the way, every hand that touches our coffee from cherry to roasting, is single-mindedly dedicated to crafting outstanding coffee.

Coffee Profile
In our search for a new way to express flavour in coffee, we have created our flavour pentagon. This gives the taster the opportunity to measure five key elements of taste:
Aroma | Flavour | Sweetness | Body | Finish
We rate each bean and blend for specific characteristics from 1-10
Aroma - How powerful is the aroma?
Flavour - Does the flavour hit you immediately, or is it more subtle?
Body - Is it a thinner or fuller texture?
Sweetness - How would you rate it on a scale of slightly bitter to very sweet?
Finish - How long does the flavour linger?
