Congratulations to David Makin Australian National Barista Champion 2008 and runner up at the 2008 World Barista Championship. David is an industry stalwart who has honed his skills over many years.  David competed in two Danes Gourmet Coffee Grand Barista Championships (2004/2005 placing 3rd & 2nd) and has continued to establish himself as Australia's most competitive barista. He is a deserving National Champion and a fine ambassador for the Australian espresso industry.
